Award Winners To Be Recognized in May To Help Honor Armed Forces’ Day, May 17, 2014
Civilianjobs.com, a website dedicated to connecting America’s military veterans to high-quality civilian careers, has announced its finalists for its annual Most Valuable Employers (MVE) awards. The MVE Awards recognize that go above and beyond to extend career opportunities to members of our armed forces and have specific policies and benefits that support team members who serve our country.
“Increasingly, military-friendly companies are coming to the forefront. This is reflected in the record number of employers that applied for the MVE recognition in 2014,” said Jake Hutchings, Director of CivilianJobs.com. “It is a significant milestone that more than 100 businesses are being acknowledged today based on the quality of their veteran hiring focus.”
The finalists were chosen based on surveys where employers were given the opportunity to outline their recruiting, training, and retention plans to serve military service members and their families. The winning companies will also be recognized in the May issue of Military Transition News, Civilianjobs.com’s world-wide military base newspaper, along with an article on the company’s website.

The winners will be selected from the pool of finalist companies and announced on May 1st.
